(N/A) Refraction of light is the phenomenon of the change in the path of light as it travels from one transparent medium to another transparent medium.
This change in direction occurs because the speed of light changes when it enters a different medium.
When light travels from a rarer medium to a denser medium,it bends towards the normal.
Conversely, when light travels from a denser medium to a rarer medium,it bends away from the normal.

$A$ light ray passes through four transparent media with refractive indices $\mu_1, \mu_2, \mu_3$ and $\mu_4$ as shown in the figure. All surfaces are parallel to each other. If the emergent ray $CD$ is parallel to the incident ray $AB$,then:

Light of wavelength $300 \ nm$ in medium $A$ enters into medium $B$ through a plane surface. If the frequency of light is $5 \times 10^{14} \ Hz$ and the ratio of speed in medium $A$ to that in medium $B$ is $\frac{4}{5}$,the absolute refractive index of medium $B$ is:
